The route continued on through the hills from Tineo to Campiello with a little side trip to the monastery. It was built in the 12th and 13th Century and parts of it are still in use today. We wandered through the ancient ruins section and tried to imagine how beautiful it must have been long ago. We were not able to enter the church itself because it was locked. But we were able to open the gate to the beautiful cemetery. It was well worth taking the time to walk an extra kilometer to pay this extraordinary relic a visit.
